Jakarta Property Market Review 1Q19

Tech firms keep expanding; more new supply delivered

July 03, 2019

Office rents continued falling in 1Q19 on the back of more supply and low market occupancy levels. Rents have now fallen in every quarter since the middle of 2015.

Meanwhile in the retail market, anther department store closed but occupancy remained high and rents increased. Condominium sales remained relatively weak although developers maintained strong interest in both the residential and logistics sectors.

We hope you enjoy this quarter’s JPMR.
